Refund And Cancellation

LakShopy operates as a digital logistics platform that enables shipment coordination for residents of Lakshadweep through our courier partner Seawings Logistics.

LakShopy does not handle parcels directly and does not sell products. Because of this, our refund and cancellation policies differ from standard e-commerce platforms.

Please review this policy carefully before using our services.


1. Order Cancellation (Before Parcel Reaches Partner Warehouse)

LakShopy does not control or manage orders placed on third-party platforms such as:

  • Amazon India
  • Flipkart
  • Myntra

If you wish to cancel an order:

  • Cancellation must be done directly on the respective shopping platform.
  • LakShopy is not responsible for seller-side cancellations or refunds.
  • No logistics or forwarding charges apply if the parcel does not reach our courier partner warehouse.

2. Cancellation After Parcel Reaches Courier Partner Warehouse

Once a parcel reaches the warehouse of our courier partner Seawings Logistics:

  • Logistics/forwarding charges become applicable.

If you request cancellation at this stage, you may choose:

Option A: Return to Seller

  • Return must be arranged through the original shopping platform.
  • Return shipping costs (if any) are borne by the customer.
  • Handling or coordination fees may apply.

Option B: Hold at Warehouse

  • Parcel can be held for a limited period.
  • Storage charges may apply after the free holding duration.

LakShopy is not responsible if the seller rejects the return.


3. Forwarding Charge Refund Policy

Logistics/forwarding charges are:

  • Non-refundable once shipment has been initiated.
  • Non-refundable after dispatch to Lakshadweep.

Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment
  • Billing error from LakShopy
  • Shipment cancelled before dispatch by LakShopy

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 working days.


4. Damaged or Missing Items

LakShopy facilitates coordination through Seawings Logistics and is responsible only for:

  • Shipment coordination from warehouse to delivery point

LakShopy is not responsible for:

  • Product defects
  • Seller packaging issues
  • Manufacturing damage
  • Wrong items sent by seller

If damage is noticed:

  • Report immediately at the time of delivery
  • Provide photo proof if required

Any compensation (if applicable) is limited to the forwarding charge unless shipment insurance is opted.


5. Non-Delivery Due to Incorrect Details

Refunds will not be issued if delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Wrong contact details
  • Customer unavailable
  • Refusal to accept delivery

Re-delivery or reprocessing charges may apply.


6. Affiliate Purchases

LakShopy may earn affiliate commissions from platforms like:

  • Amazon India
  • Flipkart

All product-related returns, refunds, or replacements are governed by the respective platform’s policies. LakShopy does not process or control product refunds.


7. Refund Processing Method

Approved refunds will be issued via:

  • Original payment method
    or
  • Bank transfer (if required)

Cash refunds are not provided.


8. Force Majeure

LakShopy is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by:

  • Weather conditions
  • Sea or air cargo disruptions
  • Government regulations
  • Natural disasters
  • Administrative restrictions in Lakshadweep

9. Account Suspension & Policy Violations

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • Prohibited items are shipped
  • Fraudulent activity is detected
  • False claims are made

LakShopy reserves the right to suspend or terminate such accounts.
