1. About LakShopy
LakShopy is a technology-driven digital logistics platform that enables parcel forwarding coordination for residents of Lakshadweep.
- LakShopy does not sell products
- LakShopy does not physically handle parcels
- All logistics operations are carried out by our authorized courier partner Seawings Logistics
LakShopy provides a digital system for shipment tracking, coordination, and customer management.
2. Eligibility
To use LakShopy, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Use the platform in compliance with applicable laws
LakShopy reserves the right to refuse or terminate access if these conditions are not met.
3. User Account
When you register:
- You will receive a Unique Customer ID
- You will be assigned a Virtual Kochi Warehouse Address
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining confidentiality of your account
- Ensuring all provided information is accurate
- All activities conducted under your account
LakShopy is not liable for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.
4. Nature of Service
LakShopy provides:
- Digital parcel forwarding coordination
- Shipment tracking and updates
- Customer dashboard and parcel visibility
LakShopy does not:
- Act as a seller or retailer
- Control third-party e-commerce platforms
- Guarantee product quality or seller performance
5. Ordering & Purchases
Customers place orders directly on third-party platforms such as:
- Amazon India
- Flipkart
- Myntra
- Ajio
- Meesho
You agree that:
- All product-related issues must be resolved with the original seller
- LakShopy is not responsible for product defects, delays, or cancellations by sellers
6. Shipping & Forwarding
- Parcels are shipped to the assigned warehouse address
- Logistics and delivery are handled by Seawings Logistics
- Forwarding charges are calculated based on weight and applicable rates
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Transport availability
- Regulatory restrictions
7. Fees & Payments
Users agree to:
- Pay all applicable forwarding and service charges
- Pay any additional charges for storage, re-delivery, or special handling
All payments must be completed before shipment dispatch unless stated otherwise.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
- Orders must be cancelled on the original shopping platform
- Forwarding charges are generally non-refundable once shipment is initiated
- Refunds (if applicable) are governed by the LakShopy Refund Policy
9. Prohibited Items
Users must not attempt to ship restricted or prohibited items as defined in our Prohibited Items Policy.
LakShopy reserves the right to:
- Refuse shipment
- Hold or return parcels
- Report violations if required
Users are fully responsible for the contents of their shipments.
10. Limitation of Liability
LakShopy is not liable for:
- Product defects or incorrect items sent by sellers
- Delays caused by third-party logistics or external factors
- Losses due to incorrect user information
- Indirect or consequential damages
Liability, if any, is limited to the forwarding charges paid, unless otherwise specified.
11. Delivery & Customer Responsibility
Customers must:
- Provide accurate address and contact details
- Be available to receive deliveries
- Accept parcels upon delivery
LakShopy is not responsible for failed deliveries due to:
- Incorrect details
- Customer unavailability
- Refusal to accept parcels
Additional charges may apply for re-delivery.
12. Account Suspension & Termination
LakShopy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if:
- False information is provided
- Prohibited items are shipped
- Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected
- Terms are violated
No refunds will be issued in cases of policy violations.
13. Data & Privacy
User data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using LakShopy, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.
14. Force Majeure
LakShopy is not liable for delays or failures caused by:
- Weather conditions
- Sea or air transport disruptions
- Government regulations
- Natural disasters
- Events beyond reasonable control
15. Changes to Terms
LakShopy may update these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of applicable courts in India.
