What is LakShopy?
LakShopy is a dedicated logistics and parcel forwarding service designed to bridge the gap between mainland India and Lakshadweep. We provide residents of Lakshadweep with a “Virtual Kochi Address,” allowing you to shop from any online store in India and have your packages forwarded securely to your island.
How does the “Virtual Kochi Address” work?
When you register with us, you are assigned a unique identification code and a dedicated shipping address in Kochi. When you shop online, simply use this address as your delivery destination. Once your package arrives at our Kochi facility, we process it and forward it to your address in Lakshadweep.
Shipping & Logistics
Which e-commerce sites can I use with LakShopy?
You can use your LakShopy address for any e-commerce platform that ships within India (e.g., Amazon India, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa, etc.).
How do I track my package?
Once your package reaches our Kochi facility, it will be scanned and updated in your LakShopy dashboard. You can log in to your account anytime to view parcel status, received package details, and final delivery progress.
How long does delivery to the islands take?
Shipping times depend on ship schedules between Kochi and your island. Final delivery times are subject to weather conditions and logistics schedules in Lakshadweep.
Ordering & Payments
Are there any items I cannot ship through LakShopy?
Yes, we cannot forward prohibited items including:
- Hazardous materials (flammable liquids, explosives, chemicals)
- Perishable goods (unless specifically approved)
- Restricted or illegal items
- Extremely large or heavy cargo beyond logistics limits

How are forwarding charges calculated?
Charges are calculated based on package weight and dimensions. The estimated forwarding cost is displayed before shipment confirmation.
How do I pay for LakShopy services?
We offer flexible payment methods:
- Online: UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards
- Offline: Cash payment on delivery (available only in select locations)
Are there additional costs beyond shipping fees?
The forwarding fee covers transit from Kochi to your island. It does not include seller-side taxes, duties, or e-commerce charges already paid during purchase.
Cancellation Policy
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, but it depends on shipment stage:
- Before arrival at Kochi Hub: Cancel directly from the original e-commerce site.
- After arrival at Kochi Hub: Return-to-sender can be arranged; return charges may apply.
Can I cancel a shipment after dispatch from Kochi?
No. Once dispatched from Kochi, shipments cannot be canceled. You may initiate a return after delivery if required.
Account & Support
What happens if my package arrives damaged at the Kochi facility?
We inspect incoming parcels. If visible damage is found, photos will be uploaded to your dashboard and you will be notified immediately.
